Knock knock!)

1. The Three Little Pigs and the Lonely Wolf

Moral: Do your best, never take the easy way — and kindness can turn an enemy into a friend.

🎬 Hook: "Owooooo! Little pig, little pig, LET ME IN!"

Narrator: Once upon a time, Mama Pig sent her three little pigs out into the world, to build their very own houses.

Mama Pig: "My little pigs, you're all grown up! Remember: whatever you build, build it with your whole heart!"

Three Pigs: "We will, Mama! Goodbye! We will build the best houses in the whole wide world!"

Pig One: "Straw is easy-peasy! La la la! My house is done in ONE day! Time to play!"

Pig Three: "Brother, be careful! Straw is weak. One big wind will blow it away!"

Pig One: "Don't worry, be happy! La la la!"

Pig Two: "Sticks are super fast! Tap tap tap! Done in TWO days! Time for a nap!"

Pig Three: "Brother, sticks go crack! Come, build with bricks!"

Pig Two: "Too tired! Nap first! Zzz..."

Pig Three: "Brick by brick, one, two, three. Building a strong house is hard work, but I never, never give up! One more day... two more days... three more days... DONE!"

Narrator: But deep in the dark forest, a big bad wolf was watching — and he was very, very hungry.

Wolf: "Grrrr! Sniff, sniff... PIGS! Dinner time! Little pig, little pig, let me in!"

Pig One: "Not by the hair of my chinny-chin-chin!"

Wolf: "Then I'll huff, and I'll puff, and I'll BLOW your house down!" Whoooosh!

Pig One: "My house! Help!"

Narrator: The little pig ran to his brother's house of sticks. But the wolf followed close behind.

Wolf: "Little pigs, little pigs, let me in!"

Pig Two: "Not by the hair of our chinny-chin-chins!"

Wolf: "Then I'll huff, and I'll puff, and I'll BLOW your house down!" Whoooosh!

Pig Two: "Run! Run to our brother's brick house!"

Narrator: So the two little pigs ran to the strong brick house, and the angry wolf came after them.

Wolf: "Little pigs, little pigs, LET ME IN!"

Pig Three: "Not by the hair of our chinny-chin-chins!"

Wolf: "Then I'll huff... and I'll puff..." Whoosh! Whoosh! WHOOSH! "Huff... puff... I... can't... blow... any... more..."

Wolf: "No door? No problem! I'll climb down the CHIMNEY! Hee hee hee!"

Pig Three: "Quick, brothers! The big soup pot — under the chimney!"

Wolf: "Here I co-o-ome — YEOWWW! Hot! Hot! HOT!"

Wolf: "Boo-hoo-hoo! My tail! And I'm so tired, and so hungry, and nobody wants to be my friend! Everybody just runs away from me!"

Pig Three: "Mr. Wolf, scaring people will never make you friends. But if you say sorry, you may have hot soup with us."

Wolf: "Really? Oh, I'm sorry, little pigs. I'm really, really, REALLY sorry!"

Pig Three: "Then come in! But first — wash your paws!"

Pig One: "Here's your soup, Mr. Wolf. Careful, it's hot!"

Wolf: "Sniff, sniff... this is the first time... anyone ever cooked for me."

Pig Two: "And Mr. Wolf, tomorrow you can help us build again — no straw, no sticks, bricks only!"

Wolf: "Brick by brick, one, two, three! Building with friends is the best work for me!"

Narrator: From that day on, the wolf helped the pigs build strong houses, and he never scared anyone again.

Pig Three: "Dear friends, remember: do your best, and never take the easy way. Because strong houses — and true friendships — are built brick by brick!"

2. The Boy Who Cried Wolf

Moral: Trust takes a long time to build, and only one lie to break.

🎬 Hook: "WOLF! WOLF! HELP!! ... Hahaha — just kidding."

Narrator: Once upon a time, a shepherd boy named Peter watched his sheep on a hill — and he was bored, bored, BORED.

Peter: "One sheep, two sheep, three sheep... ninety-nine... one hundred. All here. Again. Hey, Fluffy, can you tell me a joke? No? Cloudy, want to dance with me? No? Baa, baa, baa... every day the SAME! Hmm... I know! Let's play a little joke on the village! Ahem — WOLF! WOLF! A wolf is chasing my sheep! HELP!"

Narrator: Down in the village, the farmers heard him, dropped everything, and ran up the hill.

Farmer One: "A wolf? Grab your sticks!"

Farmer Two: "Run! Run! Where is it? Where's the wolf?"

Peter: "Hahaha! There's no wolf! You should see your faces! So funny!"

Farmer One: "Peter! That is NOT funny. I left my soup on the fire for you!"

Farmer Two: "And I ran here in my pajamas! A lie is never a joke, boy."

Narrator: The farmers went home, shaking their heads. The very next day, Peter was bored again.

Peter: "Hee hee... one more time? WOLF! WOLF! A HUGE wolf! HELP! HELP!"

Farmer Two: "Peter! Is it true this time?"

Peter: "Hahaha! You came AGAIN! You should see your faces! Silly farmers!"

Farmer One: "Listen carefully, boy. If you lie again, nobody — NOBODY — will believe you."

Narrator: A few days later, a real wolf came down the hill — a big one, with hungry yellow eyes.

Wolf: "GRRRRR! What a fine, fat flock of sheep! And only a little boy to guard them! Hahaha! Dinner is served!"

Peter: "W-w-wolf! A REAL wolf! HELP! WOLF! Please, somebody, HELP!"

Farmer One: "Hmph. It's Peter again."

Farmer Two: "He's just joking. Don't listen."

Peter: "No one... no one is coming... What do I do? Think, Peter, think! The whistle! TWEET! TWEET! ... Nothing. The bell! CLANG! CLANG! ... Still nothing! Then I must be brave — SHOO! Go away! Leave my sheep alone! SHOO!"

Narrator: But old Grandpa Tom, the wisest farmer in the village, stopped — and listened carefully.

Old Farmer: "Wait... that scream sounds different. That scream sounds REAL! Hold on, boy, I'm coming!"

Old Farmer: "Take my stick! Stand behind me! GO, wolf! Get out of our village!"

Wolf: "Grrr... too many humans! I'm out of here!"

Peter: "My sheep... one, two, three... all safe. All safe!"

Peter: "Grandpa Tom... everyone stayed home, but you came. You believed me. I'm so sorry. I lied two times, and today I almost lost everything."

Farmer One: "Peter! We heard the bell! Is it true? Is there really a wolf?"

Peter: "It WAS true. And Grandpa Tom saved us all. Friends... I'm sorry for my jokes. Both of them."

Old Farmer: "Peter, a shepherd's voice is his treasure. Use it for the truth, and the whole village will run for you."

Peter: "From today, I will only tell the truth. I promise — a real promise!"

Narrator: And Peter kept that promise for the rest of his life.

Peter: "Dear friends, a lie may be funny for one minute, but trust takes a long, long time to build — and only ONE lie to break. Always, always tell the truth!"

3. Goldilocks Says Sorry

Moral: Ask before you touch; a brave "I'm sorry" can fix almost anything.

🎬 Hook: "Someone ate ALL my porridge! WAAAH!" (Baby Bear

Narrator: Once upon a time, a curious little girl named Goldilocks skipped into the deep, green forest.

Goldilocks: "Picking flowers, one by one... la la la... oh dear. Where am I? Am I... lost?"

Goldilocks: "Ooh! What a cute little house! Hello? Anybody home? ... Nobody? Well then... I'll just take a tiny, tiny peek!"

Narrator: Inside the little house, everything came in threes — three bowls, three chairs, and three beds.

Goldilocks: "How funny! One big, one middle, one tiny! It's a house of threes!"

Goldilocks: "Mmm, porridge! I know I shouldn't... but my tummy is growling! Grrrrowl! Just one little taste. This one is TOO hot — ouch! This one is TOO cold — yuck! But this little one is juuust right! Gulp, gulp, gulp. Oops... all gone!"

Goldilocks: "Now, a chair. This chair is TOO big! This one is TOO hard! This little one is juuust right — CRACK! — oopsie... it broke..."

Goldilocks: "I'm so sleepy... This bed is TOO high! This one is TOO soft! This little bed is juuust right... zzz..."

Narrator: Just then, the three bears came home from their morning walk.

Papa Bear: "Home sweet home! Time for breakfast! ... Wait a minute. Someone has been eating MY porridge!"

Mama Bear: "Someone has been eating MY porridge, too!"

Baby Bear: "Someone ate ALL my porridge! Waaah!"

Papa Bear: "Someone has been sitting in MY chair!"

Mama Bear: "Someone has been sitting in MY chair, too!"

Baby Bear: "And look — my little chair is BROKEN! Waaah! Waaah!"

Papa Bear: "Shhh... listen. Upstairs! Someone has been sleeping in MY bed!"

Mama Bear: "Someone has been sleeping in MY bed, too!"

Baby Bear: "And someone is STILL sleeping in MY bed!"

Goldilocks: "AAAAH! Bears! One, two, THREE bears!"

Narrator: Goldilocks jumped up and ran to the door. But there, she stopped.

Goldilocks: "My heart is going boom, boom, boom! My legs say RUN! But wait... Goldilocks, stop. Running away is easy... but it's not right."

Goldilocks: "Mr. Bear, Mrs. Bear, Baby Bear... I'm sorry. I ate your porridge. I broke the little chair. I slept in the little bed. Your home is not mine, and I was wrong."

Baby Bear: "Sniff... you broke my chair... but you came back to say sorry. Nobody EVER did that before."

Goldilocks: "I'll ask my papa to fix your chair today. And tomorrow, I'll bring honey cake for everyone!"

Mama Bear: "Then you may visit us again, sweet girl. Are you still hungry? I'll cook a fresh pot of porridge — not too hot, not too cold... juuust right!"

Goldilocks: "That's my favorite kind! How did you know?"

Baby Bear: "Because you ate MINE! Hee hee!"

Papa Bear: "But next time — KNOCK first!"

Goldilocks: "I will! Knock, knock! Like this! Hee hee!"

Baby Bear: "Will you really, really come back tomorrow?"

Goldilocks: "I promise. Honey cake, and a big sorry hug. Friends?"

Baby Bear: "Friends!"

Narrator: And the very next day, Goldilocks came back — with honey cake, and a brand-new little chair.

Goldilocks: "Dear friends, always ask before you touch, and if you make a mistake, don't run away. A brave 'I'm sorry' can fix almost anything — even a broken little chair!"

演出小提示:「TOO hot / TOO cold / juuust right」三連句是招牌,配上表情包式的臉。

4. Cinderella's Kind Heart

Moral: The brightest thing you can wear is a kind heart.

🎬 Hook: "Dong! Dong! Dong! Oh no — MIDNIGHT!"

Narrator: Once upon a time, a kind girl called Cinderella lived with her stepmother and two stepsisters.

Stepsister One: "Cinderella! Wash the dishes!"

Stepsister Two: "Cinderella! Sweep the floor!"

Stepmother: "Cinderella! Where is my tea?"

Cinderella: "Coming! Scrub, scrub, scrub... sweep, sweep, sweep... It's okay, little mouse. I still have you — and I still have my dreams."

Narrator: One day, a golden invitation arrived from the palace.

Stepsister One: "Look! A royal ball at the palace — tonight!"

Stepsister Two: "Not YOU, Cinderella! Look at your dirty dress! Hahaha!"

Cinderella: "I work hard every day. I am kind to everyone. Why can't I go, too?"

Narrator: Just then, in a swirl of sparkling light, a Fairy Godmother appeared before her.

Fairy Godmother: "Because you CAN, my dear! Do you know why I came tonight? Not because you are pretty — because every single day, you are patient and kind. Bibbidi-bobbidi-BOO!"

Cinderella: "Oh! A beautiful gown! Glass slippers! Thank you, thank you!"

Fairy Godmother: "We're not done, my dear! One pumpkin — now a golden coach! Six little mice — now six white horses!"

Cinderella: "Even my little mouse friends are helping me! Kindness really does come back!"

Fairy Godmother: "It always does. Now remember — when the clock strikes twelve, the magic ends!"

Narrator: That night, the palace was full of music and light.

Stepsister One: "The prince will pick ME! Look at my golden dress!"

Stepsister Two: "No, ME! My diamonds are bigger! ... Wait — who is THAT lady coming in? She looks a little familiar..."

Stepsister One: "Impossible. We don't know anyone THAT kind-looking."

Narrator: Across the hall, the young Prince was watching too.

Prince: "Everyone is dancing... but who is that lady, helping the old grandmother find her chair?"

Cinderella: "There you go, ma'am. Sit here — the music is lovely from this seat."

Prince: "Excuse me, miss. Every lady tonight showed me her dress. Only you showed me your heart. May I have this dance?"

Cinderella: "I'd love to! One dance... two dances... three dances... I could dance forever— Dong! Dong! Dong! Oh no, MIDNIGHT! I must go! I'm sorry!"

Prince: "Wait! Miss! I don't even know your name! ... She's gone. But look — a little glass slipper. I WILL find her. Guards! Try this slipper on every girl in the land!"

Narrator: The prince searched the whole kingdom, house by house, foot by foot. At last, he came to the very last house.

Stepsister One: "It's mine! Give it — OUCH! Too small!"

Stepsister Two: "Mine! Mine! ... Ow! My toes!"

Cinderella: "May... may I try?"

Stepmother: "YOU? Don't be silly!"

Prince: "I said EVERY girl in the land. Please, miss. ... It fits! It fits perfectly! It's you — the lady with the kind heart!"

Stepmother: "Impossible! She's just... just Cinderella!"

Prince: "Yes — Cinderella. Will you come to the palace, just as you are?"

Cinderella: "Just as I am? Then yes — with all my heart!"

Cinderella: "Dear friends, dresses can sparkle, and crowns can shine. But the brightest thing you can ever wear... is a kind heart!"

5. The Ugly Duckling

Moral: Different is not wrong — maybe you're a swan who hasn't found your lake yet.

🎬 Hook: "Ugly! Ugly duckling! ... Why do they laugh at me?"

Narrator: One sunny morning on a quiet farm, six little eggs went crack, crack, crack.

Mama Duck: "Quack! My babies! One, two, three, four, five... and — oh my! Number six... you look a little... different."

Duckling One: "He's so BIG!"

Duckling Two: "He's so GREY! Ugly! Ugly duckling!"

Ugly Duckling: "Can I play with you? Please?"

Duckling One: "No way! You'll scare the fish! Go away!"

Ugly Duckling: "Why do they laugh at me? I just want to play together..."

Ugly Duckling: "Fine! I'll swim all by myself. One, two, splash! At least the fish don't laugh at me... wait. DO fish laugh?"

Narrator: So the sad little duckling left home. He asked the hen, the cat, and the dog on the next farm for a place to stay.

Hen: "You want to stay on MY farm? Can you lay eggs? No? Cluck! Go away!"

Cat: "Can you catch mice? No? Meow! Useless! Shoo!"

Dog: "Woof! Can you guard the house? No? Then move along, grey bird!"

Ugly Duckling: "No eggs, no mice, no guarding... Nobody wants me here. Maybe... nobody wants me anywhere."

Narrator: Autumn passed, and then came the long, cold winter.

Ugly Duckling: "Brrr... the lake is turning to ice, and my feathers are frozen. Mama, where are you? I wish somebody — anybody — wanted me. Just hold on... one more day... one more day..."

Narrator: At last, the ice melted, and spring came back to the lake.

Ugly Duckling: "The sun is warm again! Oh! Look at those beautiful white birds on the lake! Excuse me... please don't chase me away. I know I'm ugly, but—"

Swan: "Ugly? My friend, look down. Look at the water!"

Ugly Duckling: "No! Please! I don't want to see my ugly face again. Every time I look, I— ... wait. WAIT. Who... who is that?"

Swan: "Look closer. Lift your wing. Now stretch your neck. See?"

Ugly Duckling: "Is that... ME? White wings? A long, beautiful neck? I'm... I'm a SWAN?"

Swan: "You were never ugly. You were a swan among ducklings — you just didn't know it yet!"

Duckling One: "Wow, look! The most beautiful bird on the lake!"

Duckling Two: "Wait... it's our brother! Brother, we're sorry we laughed at you. We were wrong."

Ugly Duckling: "It's okay. It hurt, but I forgive you. Come — let's swim together. ALL of us!"

Mama Duck: "My baby! I looked for you all winter! Quack! My six beautiful babies — different, and beautiful, every one!"

Swan: "And next winter, friend, fly south with us — swans fly together!"

Ugly Duckling: "Together! I like that word. It's my favorite word in the whole world!"

Narrator: And the young swan spread his great white wings, and flew high over the shining lake.

Ugly Duckling: "Dear friends, if someone looks different, don't laugh — say hello! And if YOU ever feel different, don't worry. Maybe you're not an ugly duckling. Maybe you're a swan who hasn't found your lake yet!"

6. The Tortoise and the Hare

Moral: Talent is a gift, but keeping on is a choice.

🎬 Hook: "Ready... set... GO! — Zoom!! ... Step... by... step..."

Narrator: In the green, green forest, everyone knew one thing — Hare was fast, and Tortoise was slow.

Hare: "I'm the fastest in the forest! Zoom! Zoom! Somebody race me! Bear? Too sleepy! Fox? Too smart to lose! Hmm... Hey, Tortoise! Why are you so slooooow? Did you start walking last YEAR? Hahaha!"

Tortoise: "I may be slow, Hare. But I never, ever stop."

Hare: "Never stop? HA! Then race me! From here to the big oak tree! Winner gets the golden carrot!"

Tortoise: "All right, Hare. I accept."

Narrator: Clever Fox heard everything, and ran over to be the judge.

Fox: "A race! A race! Everyone, come and watch! Ready... set... GO!"

Narrator: The race began, and Hare shot away like an arrow.

Hare: "Zoom! Look at me fly! And where is Mr. Slow? Way, waaay back there! Maybe I should run backwards! Hahaha! You know what? I have time for a snack... and a little nap. Yawn... zzz..."

Fox: "Ladies and gentle-animals! Hare is at the river! Hare is over the hill! Hare is... wait... Hare is taking a NAP?!"

Narrator: While Hare slept under the tree, Tortoise walked on, and on, and on.

Tortoise: "Step... by step... step... by step... A big rock? Go around it. A muddy puddle? Go through it. The sun is hot... my shell is heavy... but look — the oak tree is closer... and closer... Don't stop... don't stop..."

Fox: "Unbelievable, folks! Look, everyone! Tortoise is almost at the oak tree!"

Hare: "ZZZ... huh? What? TORTOISE?! At the finish line?! NOOO! Run, run, RUN!"

Fox: "Here comes Hare! But — three... two... one...!"

Tortoise: "Step... by step... I... MADE IT!"

Fox: "Tortoise WINS! Hip hip hooray! And the golden carrot goes to... TORTOISE!"

Hare: "I... I lost? But I'm the fastest... How? HOW?"

Tortoise: "Hmm. This golden carrot is much too big for one. Hare — come share it with me."

Hare: "Share? With me? But I laughed at you... I called you Mr. Slow..."

Tortoise: "You ARE the fastest, Hare. But fast legs need a steady heart. Want to practice with me tomorrow?"

Hare: "You'd practice... with ME? Even after I laughed at you?"

Tortoise: "Of course. Friends make each other better."

Hare: "Then tomorrow, I won't nap! And I won't laugh at anyone, ever again."

Fox: "And next month — the forest relay race! Hare AND Tortoise, one team!"

Hare: "One team? Hmm... Tortoise, you take the first part — a good, steady start. I'll take the last part — a lightning finish!"

Tortoise: "Now THAT is how a winning team thinks!"

Hare: "I'll run like the wind!"

Tortoise: "And I'll never give up! Deal?"

Hare: "Deal! High five — well... slow five, for you! Hahaha!"

Narrator: And from that day on, the fastest and the steadiest animals in the forest were also the very best of friends.

Tortoise: "Dear friends, talent is a gift, but keeping on is a choice. Step by step, day by day — that's how slow little me crossed the finish line first!"

Moral: Honesty builds friendships taller than any beanstalk.

🎬 Hook: "FEE... FI... FO... FUM!"

Narrator: Jack and his mother were so poor that one day, they had to sell their only cow.

Mother: "Jack, there is no bread for tomorrow. We must sell Bessie the cow. Get a good price, my boy."

Narrator: On the road to the market, Jack met a strange old man with a long white beard.

Jack: "Moo-moo, I'll miss you, Bessie... Excuse me, sir! Would you buy my cow?"

Old Man: "I'll give you five MAGIC beans!"

Jack: "Magic beans? Wow! Deal!"

Mother: "BEANS?! Oh, Jack! We needed MONEY, not beans!" Toss! "Out the window they go! Go to bed, Jack. Tomorrow... we'll think of something."

Jack: "I'm sorry, Mother... I really thought they were magic..."

Narrator: But that night, something magical DID happen. By morning, a giant beanstalk reached all the way up to the clouds.

Jack: "WHOA! A beanstalk! I'm climbing it! One... two... three... don't look down, Jack, don't look down... whew... made it! A castle in the clouds!"

Jack: "Wow... golden plates! A singing harp! And chairs as big as my whole house!"

Narrator: But that castle belonged to a GIANT — and the giant was coming.

Giant: "FEE-FI-FO-FUM! I smell a little boy! Yum, yum, YUM! Where ARE you, little boy?"

Jack: "Hide, Jack, hide! Shhh... don't even breathe! ... Look! A hen that lays GOLDEN eggs! We're so poor... and we're so hungry... maybe... just the hen..."

Jack: "Shhh! Little harp, please, PLEASE be quiet!" Grab! Run! Climb!

Mother: "A golden egg! Jack, we're rich! We're RICH!"

Narrator: But that night, Jack could not sleep. A big, sad sound was coming down from the sky.

Jack: "Mother... listen. Can you hear that? Someone is crying... up there."

Giant: "BOO-HOO-HOO! My hen! My little hen! My grandmother gave her to me! She's my only family... and someone STOLE her!"

Jack: "Oh no... he's not a monster. He's just... sad. And it's because of me."

Narrator: So Jack climbed the beanstalk one more time — not to take, but to give back.

Giant: "WHO'S THERE? FEE-FI-FO-FUM! ... Oh. It's YOU. The little thief."

Jack: "Gulp. My legs, don't run. My voice, don't shake. Mr. Giant? Um... it was me. I took your hen. I'm sorry. We were hungry — but stealing is stealing. Here. She's home now."

Giant: "You... came BACK? You could have run away forever! Little boy, you are small — but your honesty is GIANT!"

Jack: "I don't feel brave. My legs are still shaking!"

Giant: "Ho ho ho! Honest AND funny! Keep one golden egg for your mother. And come up for tea every Sunday — friends?"

Jack: "Friends! But Mr. Giant... please don't say 'yum yum' when I visit!"

Giant: "Ho ho ho! Deal, little friend! Sunday tea — you bring the bread, I bring the golden... I mean, the HONEY!"

Mother: "Jack! You gave the hen BACK? Oh, my boy... today I am the richest mother in the world — my son is honest!"

Jack: "Dear friends, I climbed up for gold, but I climbed down with something better. Gold can buy bread — but honesty builds friendships taller than any beanstalk!"

8. Snow White and the Magic Mirror

Moral: Mirrors can only see your face — everyone can see your heart.

🎬 Hook: "Mirror, mirror, on the wall..."

Narrator: Every morning, in a tall dark castle, the Queen asked her magic mirror the same question.

Queen: "Mirror, mirror, on the wall, who is the fairest of them all?"

Mirror: "You are fair, my Queen, it's true. But Snow White is KINDER — and kindness shines through."

Queen: "KINDER? What is 'kind'? I am BEAUTIFUL! That's all that matters! ... Isn't it?"

Narrator: Far away, in a little house in the forest, Snow White lived with the seven dwarfs.

Dwarfs: "Heigh-ho! Heigh-ho! Good morning, Snow White! Ho!"

Snow White: "Good morning, everyone! Breakfast is ready! Grumpy — here's yours. Extra honey, just how you like it!"

Grumpy: "Hmph... nobody EVER remembers my honey... Thank you, Snow White."

Dwarfs: "Snow White, we're off to work! Remember — don't open the door for strangers!"

Snow White: "Don't worry! I'll be careful... and kind. Both at the same time!"

Queen: "Mirror! Look — my new crown! A thousand diamonds! NOW who is the fairest?"

Mirror: "A crown is gold, a crown is tall... but kindness is the fairest crown of all."

Queen: "Enough! I'll see this 'kindness' myself!"

Narrator: So the jealous Queen put on an old grey cloak, took a basket of apples, and set off into the forest.

Queen: "Hee hee. Sweet girl! Would you buy an apple from a poor old woman?"

Snow White: "Oh, grandmother! You look so tired, and your hands are shaking! Please, come in. Sit down. Have some warm soup first — it's cold outside."

Queen: "Soup? For... for ME? Child, you don't even know me. And look at your hands — so rough! Why?"

Snow White: "From washing seven bowls, seven cups, and seven little beds every day! Hee hee. Rough hands, happy home."

Queen: "Rough hands... happy home..."

Snow White: "I don't need to know you to be kind to you. Here — careful, it's hot. And take my shawl, too. The wind is cold today, grandmother."

Queen: "Nobody has been kind to me for years... Everyone looks at my face. Nobody... ever asked about my hands."

Snow White: "A face is just a face, grandmother. Are you all right? Why are you crying?"

Queen: "Child... I must tell you the truth. I am the Queen. I came here to trick you, because I was jealous. But you gave soup to a stranger, with nothing to gain. Now I understand what my mirror meant."

Snow White: "Then stay for lunch, my Queen. The dwarfs make terrible jokes, but wonderful pie!"

Grumpy: "Hmph! My jokes are EXCELLENT! Listen: why did the apple stop rolling? ... Because it ran out of JUICE!"

Queen: "Ha... haha... HAHAHA! Oh my... I haven't laughed in ten years!"

Narrator: That evening, back at the castle, the Queen stood before her mirror one last time.

Queen: "Mirror, mirror, on the wall... who is the fairest of them all?"

Mirror: "The fairest face may fade away... but a kind heart grows fairer every day."

Queen: "Then from today, I will grow the fair that never fades."

Snow White: "Dear friends, mirrors can only see your face — but everyone can see your heart. Be kind, and you will be beautiful forever!"

Moral: Work first, play later — and leave room at your table for a friend.

Narrator: One warm summer, in a green, green field, there lived a singing Grasshopper — and a hard-working little Ant.

Ant: "I'm storing food for winter. Puff, puff... one grain, two grains, three grains... Sister ants, keep going! Grain by grain, our home gets stronger!"

Grasshopper: "Winter? That's sooo far away! Put down that heavy grain and dance with me!"

Ant: "Still storing! Grain by grain, day by day!"

Grasshopper: "Autumn? A little chilly... Hmm, should I store some food, too? ... Nah! One more song! La la la!"

Narrator: Then, one grey morning, winter came — with wind, and ice, and deep white snow.

Grasshopper: "Brrr... my tummy is empty... my violin is frozen... and my legs are too cold to hop... A-Ant! Ant!" Knock... knock... knock... "Please! Please open the door!"

Ant: "Who's there, knocking so softly in this storm? ... Grasshopper! You're FROZEN! Come in, quick! Sit by the fire! Mama, Papa, Grandpa — set one more bowl! We have a guest tonight!"

Grasshopper: "But... you told me to work, and I only laughed at you. Why would you help me?"

Ant: "Because friends don't let friends freeze. Here — warm soup, and bread."

Grasshopper: "Warm soup... slurp... I forgot how good food tastes. Thank you, little Ant. You are smaller than me... but your heart is much, much bigger."

Grasshopper: "But... sniff... you worked all summer, and I have nothing to give you back."

Ant: "Nothing? Hmm. Winter is long, and winter is quiet. Would you... sing for us?"

Grasshopper: "Sing? THAT I can do! La la la! ♪ Snow outside but warm within, when you share, everybody wins! ♪"

Ant: "Beautiful! Even my grandpa is dancing!"

Grasshopper: "♪ Winter wind may blow and blow, but friendship keeps us warm below! ♪"

Ant: "Encore! Encore! Grasshopper, your song just turned our little house into a palace!"

Grasshopper: "Ant, when spring comes... will you teach me how to work?"

Ant: "Only if you teach me how to sing!"

Narrator: All winter long, the Grasshopper sang and the ants danced. Then, at last, spring came again.

Ant: "Spring! Grasshopper — grab a grain!"

Grasshopper: "Grain by grain! Puff, puff! And tonight — concert at MY place!"

Grasshopper & Ant: "Deal! Work first, play later — TOGETHER!"

Ant: "Dear friends, summer fun is sweet, but a full cupboard is sweeter. Work first, play later — and always leave room at your table for a friend who has learned his lesson!"
